Prime Gym – Membership Terms and Conditions
These Membership Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the agreement between you and Prime Gym ("we", "us", "our"). By joining Prime Gym, whether online or in person, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Membership Eligibility & Acceptance
Members must be at least 14 years old to hold a membership.
By joining, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete, and that you have completed any required health declarations.
Membership is personal to you and may not be shared or transferred.
2. Types of Membership
Prime Gym offers the following membership options:
a) Monthly Rolling Memberships
Begin with a pro rata payment from the join date to the end of that month.
Thereafter, payments are taken monthly in advance on the 1st of each month.
b) 12-Month Contract Memberships
Commence on the 1st of the month following your join date and run for 12 full calendar months.
A pro rata payment applies from the join date to the end of the current month (this period does not count toward the 12 months).
Monthly payments are taken on the 1st of each month.
At the end of the contract, the membership will automatically convert to a monthly rolling membership unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
c) Annual Memberships
Valid for 365 consecutive days from the date of purchase.
d) Day Passes
Valid only on the date of purchase and expire at the end of that day.
3. Payments & Pricing
Membership fees are payable regardless of attendance or usage.
We reserve the right to amend prices, offers, or promotional discounts at any time.
Removing or changing your payment method does not cancel your membership.
4. Cooling-Off Period
New members may cancel within 14 days of joining.
This applies to new memberships only and not renewals.
No refunds are provided during the cooling-off period.
5. Cancellations
Monthly Rolling Memberships
May be cancelled at any time with one full calendar month’s notice.
Notice will take effect at the end of the following calendar month.
12-Month Contract Memberships
Cannot be cancelled before the end of the contract unless the remaining balance is paid in full.
To prevent automatic conversion to a rolling membership, cancellation notice must be given one full calendar month before the contract end date.
How to Cancel
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing info@primegymclydebank.co.uk.
Cancelling or removing your direct debit or payment method does not cancel your membership. Memberships will remain active until valid written cancellation notice is received.
Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
6. Memberships Set Up in Error
Members are responsible for selecting the correct membership type.
Prime Gym is not liable for memberships created in error.
No refunds will be issued due to incorrect member selection or inaccurate information provided at sign-up.
7. Membership Freezes
Memberships may be frozen for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 full calendar months.
Only one freeze is permitted per 12-month period.
Freeze requests must be submitted with at least 7 days’ notice and will only begin on the 1st of the following month.
Freezes will only be considered for the following reasons, subject to approval:
Medical reasons
Temporary relocation
Redundancy
Supporting evidence is required.
Fees will continue until the freeze is approved and processed.
Any outstanding balance must be settled before a freeze is applied.
For 12-month contracts, the end date will be extended by the duration of the freeze.
8. Non-Use of Facilities
Failure to use the gym or attend sessions does not entitle the member to any refund, credit, or extension.
9. Unpaid Fees & Debt Recovery
Access may be suspended if payments fall into arrears.
Outstanding balances will be pursued for up to three (3) months.
If unresolved, debts may be passed to a third-party collection agency.

Any additional recovery fees incurred may be charged to the member.

You confirm that you are physically fit to exercise.
If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns, you should seek medical advice before training.
